Linux and Windows, on premises or in the cloud. Built, migrated, monitored and backed up, with someone on the end of a phone at 3am if it matters.£500 to £1,000/month
A server is simply the machine that other machines rely on. It might hold the files everyone opens all day, run the database behind your line of business software, handle logins across the office, or sit in a data centre serving your website and email. Most businesses have more of them than they realise, and most only think about them on the morning one stops.
Infrastructure is the wider picture around those machines: the storage they write to, the way they are backed up, the updates they need, the security around who can reach them, and the plan for what happens when a disk fails or the power goes. A server on its own is just a box. Infrastructure is whether that box is looked after or quietly rotting.
We work with both Windows Server and Linux, on hardware in your building, on cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, or a mix where each job sits wherever it makes the most sense. The right answer is rarely all one or all the other, and it is never the thing a salesperson is on commission to sell you.
See it work
Run a health check and see the kind of problems we catch and fix remotely.
A scripted demonstration on sample kit. On yours we run a real remote check and send you the plain-English findings before touching anything.
The point of doing this properly is that you stop thinking about it. When a server is monitored, the software watching it sees a disk filling up or a backup failing days before it becomes an outage, and we deal with it while you are getting on with the actual business. The alternative is finding out at nine on a Monday, with everyone stood around unable to work.
It also removes the single quiet risk that sinks small firms: a backup nobody ever tested. Plenty of businesses have a backup running and genuinely believe they are covered, right up until the day they need it and discover it stopped working eight months ago. We test restores, not just schedules, so the safety net is real rather than assumed.
And it gives you room to grow without a panic. Adding staff, a new application, or a second site is a planned change rather than an emergency, because someone already understands how the whole thing fits together and what it can take.

The tower under the desk
An Edinburgh accountancy practice ran its entire client system on a tower PC under a partner's desk, doubling as a file share, a print server and the home of fifteen years of tax records. Its one external backup drive had silently stopped copying nine months earlier. We moved the practice management system and the files onto a properly specified, monitored setup with backups held in two places and tested weekly, cut over on a Friday evening so nobody lost a working hour, and left the old tower in a cupboard as a paperweight rather than a liability.
The migration nobody noticed
A wholesaler with two branches was running an ageing on premises server for stock and invoicing that everyone was quietly afraid to touch. We built its replacement in the cloud alongside the old one, moved the data across in stages over a fortnight, and switched the branches over one evening. Staff came in the next morning to the same screens they knew, faster, with nothing to relearn and no downtime to explain to customers.
Tell us what is going wrong and we will come back with a fixed price in writing, after a short scoping call. No obligation, and no jargon.
£500 to £1,000/month. We agree the exact number before any work starts, so there are no open ended day rates.
Most work of this kind is live within three to four weeks. We give you a date before we begin and tell you early if anything threatens it.
Yes. We are based in Edinburgh and work on site across the Lothians, Fife and Glasgow, and remotely across the United Kingdom.

Business phone systems that follow your team anywhere. Number porting, call routing, voicemail to email, and call recording where you need it.
Predictive, progressive and preview diallers for outbound teams. Set up, tuned, and kept compliant with Ofcom rules on abandoned calls.
Every call, meeting and voice note turned into searchable text, with summaries and actions extracted automatically. Accurate on strong regional accents.
The repetitive work handed to a machine. Quote to invoice, document processing, chasing, routing and reporting.
The system you actually need rather than the one you can rent. Built around your process, integrated with what you already use.
Stop missing calls. Stop quoting at midnight.
